It was nice to be back in one spot again after moving around so much the last couple of weeks. We were back in the same house just outside of San Jose. We were planning on driving out to Pacha Mama in a few days but for now we had a nice place to crash after all of that. We were gonna just stay in but Dad had heard good things about a zoo/sanctuary that was really close by. All the animals there were rescues deemed injured to be rehabilitated. It was really cool to have an up close look at some of the birds and animals.
After the zoo we spent a few more days relaxing and then headed out to Pacha Mama. Soon we were on the road again but there was an accident on the highway so we had to change course and spend the night in Monte Verde instead.
