Europe Day Seven - Edinburgh Castle

We woke up at our apartment by the bay and rushed to catch the bus for an hour ride. After putting our backpacks in lockers at the bus station we walked up the hill to Edinburgh Castle and checked out the view.

The Edinburgh Castle was built on a tall hill to evade attacks better. We got to see the crown jewels of the castle which were a sword, a scepter and a crown. Sadly there were no photos allowed in the room so we have no photos to show. We had breakfast at the castle before walking back to pick up our bags and leave on our train to the Glasgow airport. We ate lunch at the airport before taking off to Dublin, Ireland on the cheapest flight ever. It was $9/person.

When we landed in Ireland we were looking forward to a night of relaxing but the hotel turned out to be an Airbnb and we couldn't find the address because they didn't send us one. We walked all the way around the park square where it was supposed to be and couldn't find it. We went to a pizzeria and tried to get a hold of them to find the address. We figured out that we had to fetch a key from 28 Belvedere road. We walked for 20 minutes to Belvedere and finally found the 28 house and retrieved the key just to walk all the way back to the blue door on the park road. We got to the door and found our apartment was next to a student housing property. We got in and realized that it was already ten o'clock and we had to go to bed. We were supposed to arrive at 6 and relax but I guess that was not to be.
3 buses
1 train
1 plane
Total miles walked: 8.5 miles - Yes really. And mostly in displeasure!
