When we woke up we went down for breakfast in the hotel. It was a really good buffet breakfast with pancakes and muffins. After we ate we ran to the bus stop to catch a bus to Limerick where our tour to the cliffs would start.
When we got to Limerick we got on the tour bus and started the ride to the cliffs. The ride took two hours and the bus driver was trying to get us there before the hurricane. The cliffs were stunning.
We walked around the top for some time while taking pictures in the cold wind.
Zaddek and I even climbed the tower at the highest point of the cliffs.
We came inside the visitor center to warm up for a bit and check it out. There was a really cool 3D video and things Sage could do too. Outside it was 1 degrees Celsius and the wind was blowing hard off the oceanfront. We ran back up for one last look before leaving the cliffs behind us.
We stopped at a little town on the way back for lunch. We got fish and chips at a nice little restaurant before hitting the road again. On the way back we stopped a few times. We saw stone houses that dated back to 14th century. We saw all the stone fences and learned that they were built by people who had been caught hunting or fishing on land owner's properties in the time of the great famine.
The tour bus drove through the rain for what seemed like forever until finally we got back to Limerick. From Limerick we took a bus to Dublin. In Dublin we got a nice hotel by the airport for the night. (I had to sleep on the hard floor but it was still okay). It was late so we all went to bed immediately.
Total buses: 4 long rides
Total miles walked: 4.5 miles
