Europe Day Eight - Bunratty Castle

We woke up and returned the key to Belvedere and walked to the tour bus station. The ticket sellers were on strike so we had to go to Limerick (the area of Ireland we wanted to see) on a two hour bus ride to get a rental car. When we arrived in Limerick there were no rental cars left. So we got some fish and chips for lunch outside the station before getting on another bus to Bunratty Castle. Our hotel was across the street from it so that worked out well.

We arrived too late fore it was closed. On our way to the hotel we checked out some of the shops and Kaden found a cool Celtic knot necklace. We had dinner at an old pub across the street named the Creamery Pub. It was cool to see how it used to be a creamery and Mom told us about Grandma and Grandpa Brian having a Creamery restaurant and that it was beside where Dad used to live. After that we got to the hotel room and relaxed for the night.

3 Buses (Long ones)
Total walked: 3.5 miles
