Africa: Travel Day to Nairobi - Nairobi, Kenya

Since we weren't going on a game drive we were able to sleep in a bit before eating breakfast and leaving Matira Bush Camp to make our way towards Amboseli National Park.

We couldn't make it all the way there in one day so we had to make a stop outside of Nairobi. On the way there we stopped at a store to see all the wooden carvings. There were hundreds of every animal. After we looked at all the carvings and art we continued on the road. Our next stop was for lunch and we had some really good veggie quesadillas with ingredients that were grown right on site. The name of the restaurant was Ubunto which means to have humanity to others. After a great lunch we drove the rest of the way to Nairobi and arrived at Wildebeest Eco Camp.

The tents were even nicer than the ones in Matira and there was a pool (too cold but Sage tried), giant chess, and ping pong. We had a really nice dinner and relaxed a bit after the long drive before settling in for the night.
