We snorkelled for about an hour and then we had to go back to the boat to head to Monkey Island which as you probably guessed was covered in monkeys. We went to the beach and had to keep all valuables on the boat so that the monkeys didn't steal them. There were a bunch of them on the beach right off from where the boat was docked. After checking out the monkeys we headed out and got pictures of the turquoise water with the mountains in the background.
We also got to see a super cute baby monkey that was climbing in one of the trees near the boat. After a few photos we got back on the boat and headed to a little town on one of the Phi Phi islands for some late lunch. There weren't many vegetarian options so we had noodles and rice with soy sauce for lunch. We grabbed some ice cream after a day in the heat and explored the town before going to our next stop, the swallow caverns.
The swallow caverns were caves systems in the side of a cliff right above the water and there were a bunch of little swallows flying around. The guide told us that they harvest the spit/saliva of the swallow for a Chinese delicacy soup which just sounds out right disgusting to me. We kept going and ended up in a lagoon. They stopped the boat and let us go out for a swim. We even got to do flips off the boat into the water. Once Zaddek, Kaden and I all did two flips and a dive we had to head back.
