We stayed in a nice apartment where dad could work and we could do some school. After we finished our school work we got to relax from all the traveling and walking we had been doing. On the first day we walked around the lake and in the village, Gravedona. We had walked quite a way when we realized Sage didn't have her camera anymore. Kaden ran back the way we had come and checked the bench where she had sat. He found it! When we were walking home he asked Sage what she thought about him finding her phone and she said, "Do you remember when you lost your phone in Florida?"
On the second day when we were finished we went for a ride on the apartment bikes. We got on a good bike trail with a pretty view of the lake. We biked around the lake for quite some time before heading back. We dropped the bikes off at the bike shed and went to the grocery store like we had the day before. The grocery store was only a few blocks away but in Lake Como there aren't many sidewalks so to get there you have to stick to the wall of a building while you walk and hope a car isn't coming when you go around a curve. Also the driving is insane and the cars are going very fast.
After experiencing the grocery store again with very little English labels or clerks we got ingredients for salad and pasta and some fruits, granola and veggies for lunch and breakfast. The next day we went for a hike while dad was working. When we got halfway up the mountain we found out that our trail ended and we couldn't find another way up. Even though we didn't get all the way up the view was pretty good. We started our descent sweating and out of breath. We had an amazing homemade meal before heading to bed. On our final day we did a lot of work, played badminton and ping pong in the yard and packed up again to get ready for another travel day.
