Europe Days Sixteen and Seventeen - Santa Susanna

When we got up we packed and walked to the bus stop. We found out that we have to signal the bus driver if you want him to stop. Of course we found this out after missing the bus we wanted. We finally got on and soon enough we were at the train station. The train we took went along the coast and we had a great ocean view. We rode the train for twelve long stops before we arrived at our destination. It took a while but we found our hotel. We relaxed the rest of the day. We went in the pool for a bit before dinner. The next day we had breakfast before heading out to the beach to play in the waves and look for sea glass.

After awhile we went back to the pool and played ping pong. We had dinner and relaxed for the rest of the night.

We spent two great days by the beach and pool before heading back to Barcelona to meet Dad at the apartment he stayed in with his friends.

Buses: 2

Europe Day Fifteen - Park Guell

We walked to a bus stop a few blocks away to catch our hop on hop off bus.

The first stop we got off at was Sagrada Familia. It is a cathedral built by the artist Gaudi that he never finished. Did you know that it is still being built today because of all the intricate designs? When we got off we couldn't get in because it was all booked for the day and the building was at maximum capacity. You have to reserve a spot in advance to get in.

So we took some pictures of the outside and got in line to get on the next bus. Once we got on the bus we went to Park Guell which was also created by Gaudi.

We checked  out a temple like building that I was not sure if it was real or not.

Zaddek and Sage got bird whistles and Mom got some summer scarves for family and relatives back home.

We went on a hike up a mountain to get a better view.

The view was pretty good and before long we headed back down the mountain. Finally we got to go the rest of the way out of the park. Sage got clay bracelets and we got lost for awhile. Eventually we got back to where we started when Sage spotted a giant bubble blower who was earning tips.

So naturally Sage went over and started popping bubbles that were bigger than her.

We gave the guy a tip and finished the rest of our bus tour around the city. After we finished we started our way back to the apartment. When we got back we went to the grocery store and a local restaurant to get pizza and tapas for dinner. We had dinner and settled down for the rest of the night.
